Lilymae is our lilac Burmese girl. We had always planned to one day keep
a female lilac kitten, and we were absolutely delighted when Lily arrived in
Daisy's first litter of kittens. Lily was born on the 20 April 2009 and
is already proving to be as wonderful as her mommy!
Lily has affectionately become known as
‘parrot cat’ in our house, due to the fact that she is not happy unless she is
draped across someone’s shoulders. She doesn’t mind what you’re doing as
long as she’s there to watch from her chosen view point! Like Daisy, Lily
can be a little monster at times. She is also an incredible thief,
although her crime is not stealing food like Daisy, but she rather prefers to
pinch your clothes! Daisy kindly assists by opening our drawers for her
and then she will quite happily run off with everything from underwear (very
embarrassing!) to big woolly jumpers and hides them from us! Fortunately,
she is such a sweet loving cat that you soon forgive her mischief and she’s not
very good at hiding her loot – you can guarantee that you can find all missing
articles of clothing carefully hidden in her cat play tunnel!
Please see our “Pedigree” page for more
details on Lily's ancestry.
