Having grown up surrounded by Burmese cats, when I finally
moved into my own home, I really missed my feline companions. My partner
Ben (despite an allergy to cats!) had also become very fond of the breed.
He had fallen for my Mum’s retired queen, Tillarow YumYum, and took very little
persuasion to agree to acquire our first girl.
We quickly contacted Kay Jater (Santilo Cats), a friend of
my Mum’s whose wonderful boy Bolly had sired many of her previous litters.
Kay very kindly allowed Santilo Shiani (Daisy) to come home with us, and
we are so pleased that she did!
Daisy is the most fantastic girl, a typical Burmese -
incredibly intelligent, mischievous and the most loving cat you could ask

Lily, our latest addition to the family, was born on 20
April 2009 in Daisy's first litter of kittens. She is shaping up to be a
